The Stella SW 4000 is about 100 grams heavier and not as smooth as the other Stella 4000 reels, but it's internally so strong that it's going to handle the abuse that big fish dish out. You don't need that power to handle bass but if you're comparing Stella 4000s for the UK and tropical trips then this handles both.
The drag can be tuned very precisely and will run unbelievably smoothly, even with very high drag pressure.
