We have been using the Fiiish Crazy Sand eels for Solent bass fishing trips for two seasons now and the catch statistics are definitive. In the Solent, Crazy Sand Eels outfish Savage Gear Sand Eels, Redgils, Artic Eels, Sidewinders and Fiiish Black Minnows. We are not saying these other lures don’t catch loads of bass, but while boat fishing in the Solent we have had all of the above bass lures in the water at the same time and bass are consistently selecting the Crazy Eel over other soft plastics.

The Lure Fishing for Bass team didn’t actually expect these results. When we first received the highly anticipated Crazy Eels two years ago, it was initially a bit of a disappointment. We didn’t like the hook being so far forward, the hook seemed too small and the tail didn’t have a paddle.

The catch statistics don’t lie, bass prefer Fiiish Crazy Sand Eels.
