This will be the first of a series of blog posts on the range of YGK braids that are suitable for UK bass lure fishing.

The absolute daddy of the YGK range for casting lures is the G-soul WX8.  This eight strand braid is not as thin as some other quality eight strand braids, but it's waxy coating results in great casting distance, less wind knots and better abrasive qualities than most of the competition.

The LFFB team has found that we lose less lures with the WX8 than when using other 8 strand braids.  Plus it's rare to lose fishing time to wind knows.

Beware confusion when browsing YGK braids as there are a number of 8 strand and G-Soul braids manufactured by YGK.  If you want the best casting braid in the range then it's the WX8 you should buy.  View YGK WX8 here.
