The bass lure fishermen heading out this weekend can take comfort from the fact that lure anglers in Cornwall, Dorset, Jersey and even Sussex have been catching bass on lures this week.

Water temp is still too low for consistent lure fishing for bass, but it appears that some of the big hungry post spawning bass are heading inshore.
