I knew the addiction was bad when I found myself repeatedly browsing multiple issues of the Japanese Seabass Magazine. Every issue is 100% focused on lure fishing for bass and as the Japanese bass inhabits the same inshore, harbour and estuary habitats as the European bass all of the tips are relevant.

This is just one of three saltwater specific monthly lure fishing magazines in Japan which demonstrates how popular lure fishing is. The other two magazines cover more popular species targeted by lure and jig in Japan including tuna, yellow tail, mahi mahi, Spanish mackerel, snapper and squid.
