Shimano Gizzashad

Posted by Lure Fishing for Bass on 19th Jul 2014

Jointed lures are making a comeback in Japan but this new generation is leveraging the latest in technology. They are expensive with a price range from £15 to £40 but bass want to eat them so what can you do.

The Gizzashad includes Shimano’s new casting system, which as with ball bearings moves the bass lures centre of gravity but this new system is designed to cast further and I believe it does.

It’s pretty amazing that Shimano has fitted this system into a jointed lure.

The Gizzashad is a sinking lure designed to swim 30cm deeps and be cast up to 45 meters. It’s 145mm long with a deep body.
